High Strength Bolts Plant (previously named Shanghai Xianfeng
Screws Plant) was founded in 1939 and its products were registered
by "Lion" trademark in1951. The construction areas
of the plant are 22,785m2 , it owns 22 million fixed assets
and employs over 400 staffs.

The large diameter
high strength bolts have been researching and manufacturing
since1950 in our plant. With the longest history and the largest
ability in manufacturing high strength fasteners in China, the
plant has advanced technologies, production process and perfect
testing equipments. There are more than twenty automatic cold-forge
machines, four sets of hot-forge machines producing bolts and
nuts, nearly forty thread-rolling equipments, four atmosphere-protect
heat treatment production lines, two surface treatment production
lines and equipments for mechanical and chemical analysis, mechanical
properties, steel identification, hardness, magnetic particle
for detecting damage. The plant has become the main base of
manufacturing high strength fasteners. The "Lion"
brand high strength bolts have won the great reputation at home
and abroad. It has been recommended as famous brand products
of Shanghai in1995 and has won the same reputation continuously
in the following years.
The main products of our plant are the high strength
bolts with the diameters from M10~M100, and the
nuts with the diameter from M16~M48 according to
China, ISO, Japan, American, British, German standards
and also non-standards products with various mechanical
properties. The products have been widely used energy
resources, transportation, metallurgy and base construction.

We have
already supplied our products to many important projects such
as Sunkou Yellow River Bridge, Jiujiang Bridge, Wuhu Mingjiang
Bridge over the Changjiang River, Shanghai Security Building,
Jinmao Building, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Beijing
Shijinshan Power Plant, Qingshan Nuclear Power Plant. We also
exported our products to more than thirty countries and areas,
such as Pakistan's Electricity Transmission Project, the steel
bridges in Burma and the power stations in Iran. We also supplied
domestic customers with the high strength bolts for space grid
structures. The large hexagon and torshear type high strength
bolts have won the state technology progress medal and the name
of world-level fine products in Shanghai and Mechanical Department.
Our plant has won the name of "Shanghai Model Unit"
in 2001.
